Consignment Sale FAQ’s and Tips 

Q.     Where do I register for the consignment sale?    

A.     Register on line at FreedomChristianAcademy.org or call Jennifer Morris at the Freedom office. She will give you the registration packet and tags, collect your fee of $10.00, and make sure the contact information we have for you is correct. If you have any merchandise questions call Missy Hacker at 933-2736 or email at hakr10ec@juno.com  

Q.  Where do I pick up the tags and pay my fee if I register online?   

A. We are located at 4615 Asheville Hwy. in Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church.  Our hours are 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Please see Jennifer in the Freedom Christian Academy office.    

Q.   What are the clothing requirements and what is accepted in the sale?    

A.   We will accept sizes new born to size 13 junior for girls and up to size 36 waist for boys. All clothing must be clean with no stains, tears, or frayed edges. Buttons, snaps and zippers cannot be missing on the item.  Shoes need to be new or gently used (casual, dress, or tennis shoes only). Stuffed animals will not be accepted.    

Q.  Can I pick up my hangers after the sale?    

A.  Unfortunately we cannot keep track of your particular hangers but you are welcome to pick some up after the sale.    

Q.        How do I fill out the tag for my item?   

A.        This is an example: 

You need to have a red dot on the right hand side of your price if you DO NOT want your item to be half off on Saturday!  (On top and bottom of tag.)

Hanging Items: Items need to be placed on hangers prior to bringing your items to the church.  We will accept plastic and wire hangers. Pant hangers will need to be used for pants, skirts, and shorts.  If you are unable to obtain this type of hanger you may hang these items on a wire hanger using a safety pin on each side to fasten the garment to the hanger. Items must be hung so that the shopper can see the front and back of the item without removing the item from the hanger.  Items that are draped across a hanger will not be accepted.  

Electronics: Your electronic item must work completely and have all cords. Please attach a note to the item explaining any components that do not work properly.   

Furniture/Large Items/Equipment:  If your furniture, large items, or equipment needs to be disassembled please take a picture of it prior to you disassembling it. This will allow us to show what the item is. If there are small parts, please bag them and secure them to the item. 

DVD’s and CD’s: Please securely tape the case closed on all sides with clear tape. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen DVD’s or CD’s.
